Fashion Games, Fashion Fun, Fashion For Real #12

Looking for a fun game to play on your iPhone or tablet? Well, a fashion game is here: Fashion Icon is the name! It is an amazing game for all fashion lovers. It is by "Game Loft" so no waiting for updates to go to the next level. Watch this video so you can see if you like it.

OK, below is a couple of pics showing how to turn a "Do-Not" into a "Do."
This outfit DOES NOT work because the top
is a conflicting pattern with the skirt: they
 are DIFFERENT lace patterns.
This outfit DOES work because instead of the busy
conflicting top, I calmed it down with a plain black tank.
Here I was shopping for budget fashion.  I found this
black skirt for $1.97 and wore it as a top!  The shorts
only cost $1.97 as well!
This outfit also cost under five bucks!  I tried
these items on in  a K-Mart dressing room
and took the pics just for you!

Fashion Gift Guide for the Seasons #11

Here is a Target  gift card. Target  gift cards are great
because Target has great stuff.
Looking for fashionable gifts for your friends, but don't know what to get and where to go? Well, first ask them what their favorite store to shop at is. Then ask them what their absolute favorite brand is and then your on your way to a perfect gift. Make sure that if your not sure that your friend might like the outfit then well, ALWAYS put a gift receipt just to be safe. If your your totally clueless about what to get, then just get a gift card. It's easy and you don't have to worry about getting your friend the right size and stuff. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Bath and Body Works is also great because this will make your friend
exited or a luxurious bath after a day at Bath an Body Works

Is your party coming up? Have a Fashion Show! #10

If you have a party coming up, and love fashion shows, then have your own!

Having a Fashion show at Home

Well, it's simple and gorgeous. All you'll need to do is get either red material or a long red carpet for your catwalk. Then get some tables and chairs or just chairs. Tell your guests to have their parents bring their "paparazzi cameras." That is the recipe for perfection.

Having a fashion show at a Facility

For my ninth and most recent B-day party on February 13, I went to Olivia's Doll House. It's not only a Fashion show, it is a wonderful place to have an awesome tea party with mini foods and delicious cake.

Here are some adorable pictures of Olivia's Doll House

Here is a pic of outside Olivia's Doll House. That is me with the black leg warmers and black skirt.
This is the tea party table, and if your the B-day girl, you get to sit in the center of attention chair.
Since I was the B-day girl I got to wear a sash.  This is your first pose where you pose how ever you want and then you begin your fashion walk.

Gingerbread Men are Getting Dolled-up for Gifts! #9

Well, from my experience, gingerbread men are the best, because you can add your own style. When my mom, friends, and I, make gingerbread men, they are out of this world--more like from around the world! Check out these well-dressed diversified Fashionistas.

I actually baked and decorated these fashionable gingerbread men last year.  I then photographed them all by myself and entered the photos into the Reflections program.  The Reflection program is like an art contest the public schools have every year since the 1960s.  I won "Principle's Choice."

Giving These as a Gift Can Be Fabulous!

There are many fun ways to dress up the packaging of gingerbread men.  One way is to put them into little clear cellophane bags and add a matching ribbon and a cute tag, such as a tag shaped like a top or a pair of pants.  This way, the recipient can "change" their gingerbread man's outfit for fun (of course the cards won't be edible)!

Another way to present them is in a gingerbread house!  This is what I am doing this year!  I could use a real gingerbread house but I found these adorable cardboard gingerbread houses at WalMart that will fit about 4 to 6 four inch high men (and women).  Oh, the baby in yellow was purchased from a cake decorating store for about $2 each but the little gingerbread baby was made by me!  I used a little tiny gingerbread cutter that came in a set.  And the arms that are in different positions, I did that by slowly moving their arms before my mom put them into the oven.

Check out this picture to the right for a sweet example of how to present your fashionable little presents!  This little man was tied to a bottle of pink ginger ale and topped with a cinnamon stick. In the pink bag, we added sugar for the rim of the glass (plus my mom dropped a little portable light bulb into the bag to make it extra fancy.  The people who received this gift were delighted.  They are even still talking about it!

If you would like our special gingerbread recipe and step by step pictures/directions, please reply. If enough people want this, I will happily post them!  I will also show you the gifts I make this year if anyone would like me to.

Fashionable Christmas Gifts #8

When I don't know what people want for Christmas, so is there something I can make and everyone will love? Of course there is. Every year my friends come over and we make gifts. One thing we always make our bath fizzes. People love them, and unlike the store bought kinds, they really work. They make your bath pink and smell great. They bubble like a soda pop and leave you smelling fresh and fabulous. If your giving it to a guy a there are guy fragrances and you can add a sporty tag, with directions and something saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.  So here is how to make bath snow balls:

Tools and materials

2 cups Epson salt

2 table spoons water

A few drops essential oils

1 drop food coloring, (plus more if desired)

Special equipment: plastic pipette, large or small round bath-ball molds, and storage jars

Directions

1.Stir together Epsom salts and water in mixing bowl.  Using pipette, add oil, 1 drop at a time, until strength of scent is to your liking. Add food coloring, 1 drop at a time, until desired shade is achieved; stir until color is even throughout.

2.Spoon a generous amount of mixture (more than necessary) into 1/2 of a bath ball mold. Pack firmly. Repeat, packing mixture into second half of mold. Press pieces together until they connect.. Remove top half of mold very carefully. Let bath ball stand, mold side down, overnight (set on an overturned jar lid to keep it from tipping over.

3.Remove mold carefully. Invert, and let ball dry completely, 2 to 3 days more. Transfer to jars.

Halloween Fashion Scare Tips #5

Get the Halloween spirit. Halloween is almost here, so get your fashion scare on. Cute Halloween costumes are smetimes hard to find, but if you find the right place there are many cute things your costume. I'm talking about face paint, hair spray, fishnet leggings and of course many more. One favorite Halloween store to get decorations, costumes, and accesories to spice up your costume is the Halloween club. You can find many in Ontario, California, USA areas and other cities in southern California. There is one in Upland, California. Last year, I got my hallaween costume there, and since every year I am something evil for Halloween, I was Goldielox and the dead bears. This year I am being Tim Birrton's Corpe's Bride. So I need to look somewhat dead and my hair is going to be red. To make make it red I will be using Splat Paint Washables® I have used it before and it works great. A popular costume this year is a nerd. Many of my friend are are being nerd this year for Halloween. Try not to dress up as something that you have before or that all your friends say they are being this year. Get your scare on and •°•°Happy Halloween°•°•!!! To join the new Fashionista Elementry Club, to know when my blogsted and will be posted and juicy fashion tips and more, email me at ShaunaNicole6@gmail.com and let me know. Thank you!

Thanks for Giving Fashion #7

Today I was wearing this adorable outfit. But, at first is started out as a mini dress. Sience it was to short, so my mom cut the bottom off and made it into a shirt, and wore it with adorable shorts. So the beatiful cream colored dress turned into a shir with an with shorts from Burlington. They are kaikie colored and have a gold sparkely strip on the sides. So, when put together you get an adorable outfit for Thanks Giving and fall. So thanks for giving fashion in a fly! Okay, so sience chili weather is blowing in, so cozy up and get the cutest boots from Burlington and JCPenny's. So get there soon. For any suggestions, comments, or questions email me at ShaunaNicole6@gmail.com. Cheers, Fashionista Elementry

My Fashion Statement #2

Hello. Right now there is a great deal going on for 40•/• entire store at justice now untill September 2, 2012. Shop online at for awsome justice styles. Or shop at Justice in most malls. I shop at Justice all the time. It's my favorite store. What a fashion statement really is, is your style and what you like to wear and what you want your style to say. My fashion statement is mostly to inspire others. I often wear neon colors, or bright colors. Somwtimes I will wear somthing more "punk" but NEVER goth. I wear short shorts or skirts most of the time. I probly wear pants once every two months. I live in California so itnis always hot and sunny. Stick to your style. Sometimes you can change it up but never completely change your whole style. Just be yourself. If you have any questions or suggustions email me at ShaunaNicole6@gmail.com

Time for Cute Winter Fashions #6

Hope everyone had cute costumes for Halloween. Winter is coming and to get cute clothes and to get all cozied up, go to Justice. They are having a 40% off deal so hurry in for the cutest styles. I just went to justice and they have a lot of neon but too much sparkles. If your looking for the cutest and all snug boots and coats juctice is the place to be. Get adorable tec gloves that let you use your phone and tablet. Get hot scarfs and adorable hats to keep you cozy. I was just there a week ago and take my word for it, be careful not to get to many sparkles! Unforunately Macy's no longer has cute clothes for girls. Yes, they have cute dresses and accesories but not skirts, shirts, and shorts. JCPenny's does. They have adorable clothes and are totaly in style.

Getting Started with Fashion #1

Hi my name is Shauna and I am nine years old. At my school, we all have our own little talent: I dance, sing, play sports, and of course, have a passion for fashion! Basically the meaning of fashion is being yourself, inspiring others and having your look be seen. My blogs will be posted every Tuesday and Friday (unless school gets in my way because I'm going into 4th grade where we are supposed to be getting more homework). I will do a blog on the following: where great deals are going on; where to go to get realy cute stuff; my fashion statement; and much more. Friday blogs will include my best outfit of the week. Here is some fashion advice, according to what I have learned: pink with red only match on Valentine's day; black and brown rarely look good together (hair doesn't count); don't wear everthing sparkley in an outfit; don't wear neon colors with other neon colors unless there is just a touch of neon on one of the garmets; sometimes if your shirt covers up your gorgeous belt then tuck in your shirt; don't always wear baggy pants: wear skinny jeans if you can, and don't wear a flowing top with a puffy skirt. These are just a few suggestions but with fashion, you got to be yourself! If you want to send in suggestions or questions email me at ShaunaNicole6@gmail.com
