Falling In Love with the Season!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons! The best part is the decorating and the scents! I have found some really cute things that make this season fun and that all of you can enjoy too!

How To: Fall DIY!

This DIY that I found is so cute and is so perfect for this season!
Okay so today we will be making a cute wooden plaque with a cute fall quote!
Supplies:

Click here to see where you can buy this wooden plaque!

• Wooden plaque
• Acrylic paint (fall colors)
• Letter stickers
• Paint brushes
• Plate
• Tweezers

Directions:
The first thing that you are gonna need to do is plaint the entire wooden plaque what ever color you want you letters for your quote. Let this paint completely dry! Next you are going to put your letter stickers wherever you want to make them say something cute! now you are going to take you second color and paint over the stickers and all of the other paint. Wait some time and make sure it is all nice and dry. Next take your tweezers and gently pull of the stickers to reveal your beautiful Fall quote! Super fun and easy!

Holiday Suds (Soaps)!

I found this really yummy smelling set of soaps from Amazon and I am really excited to try them out! They're perfect scents for the season and will look great by your sink! They are $13.99 and you can find them from Amazon.com and it says they are from Bath and Body Works!

Fall Looks!

Right now leggings with sweaters or floppy shirts are "in." Pair them with a pair of brown combat boots to make the look more "Fall-ish" and your good to go! Let's take a look at a couple outfits like these and where you can get what you see!

Warm Fall Drink!

I got this mug from Michael's craft store!
It keeps your drinks warm with the cute lid!

This drink is one of my favorites for Fall and Winter because it will keep you warm and cozy! It's also super easy so let's get started!

The first thing you'll need to do is squeeze half of a lemon into a mug, you can put the other half of the lemon in a baggie and put it back in the fridge for later! Next, add hot water to your mug by boiling water, or microwaving it. next add some Equal. I love Equal because it tastes like sugar but it isn't so your drink can be totally healthy! stir up your drink and your good to go!

How to Train Your Dragon 2

How to Train your Dragon 2 This movie is by far one of the cutest movies I have seen! I wasn't too into the first "How to Train Your Dragon" but this one was more to my interest. I saw it with my nephew because of course, he was excited to see a movie about dragons and I was convinced that I would go when I decided to do a review on it. I won't give too much away but here is a review that is shown on Google: 

"Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn't exactly fit in with his tribe's longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup's world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view." How To: DIY Lip Scrub

There are a lot off products that you can use for your lips but a lot of times, those products are expensive! Why not make a fun lip scrub your self? This little recipe if easy and you can add scents or colors! So lets get started!

What you will need:

•1 tbsp. of Olive Oil

•1 tbsp. of Honey

•2 tbsp. of Granulated White Sugar

•Scented oil such as peppermint oil (optional)

•Food Coloring (optional)

Directions:

In a small cup or bowl, mix honey, olive oil, and sugar. Mix until combined. 

To make smell and look good, add 2 drops of scented oil and coloring. Mix until color is spread thoroughly and all oil is spread through out.

At this point, transfer your mixture into a small jar or screw on, small container like the picture above. You can now add a cute label that says, "Sugar Lip Scrub" with your name! You can either print a stick on label or write it on a paper an glue or tape it on to your lip scrub!

No Make-Up Look

No make-up looks are perfect for days when you are out and about and aren't planning on dressing up! The secret about no make-up look are using colors that match your skin-tone and aren't drastic. (If you are trying this out, you don't have to do every step like foundation or mascara, if you don't want to)

First apply a thin layer of some BB cream or Foundation. Don't put too much on or it will kill the no make-up look effect. BB or CC cream are the best because they are more than just a color foundation, they moisturize, have sunscreen, give you coverage, and more. If you don't have a CC or BB cream, foundation is fine.

Next, apply nude and natural shades of eye shadow. Add light browns or creams to your eyelid and a lighter color under your eyebrow. You can add pinks or whites as well.

The next step is to add blush to the apples of your cheeks. You can do this by making a fish face, and then applying into the apples of your cheeks! Apply your blush in soft colors like a pink.

What your going to do next is curl your lashes with an eyelash curler. Continue to curl until you like the result.

Next step, applying mascara. I like to use a water-proof mascara so that I can wear it all day and know it won't come off with contact of water. Apply one coat and decide if a second is needed.

Last step, lips! You probably don't want to use a dark or bright color. I usually use a light pink or use my gloss for a subtle look. Using baby lips is good because it adds a bit of shine with our too much color. It also feels moisturizing and protecting.

Now that you have a no make-up look, go rock it!

Fringe bathing suits are totally in right now! You can get them at most stores that sell bikinis! I have found a cute one in particular from Target. Take a look to the right and you will see this cute bathing suit that comes in a magenta shad and a minty green color! Go to Target.com to check out this cute bikini top for only $9.98!

There are some cool quizzes to tell you if you are more like Katniss from Hunger Games or Bella from the Twilight series. Last Minute back to School!

Back to school shopping can be fun when it comes to supplies because you can stick t a theme or pattern like pink checkers or blue sparkles! I like Staples for stuff like that because they have cute patterns and colors in folders, binders and pencils!

School clothes shopping is so much fun too! Back to school clothes shopping has to be perfect because the clothes you get are going to be the first outfits that you wear this year so you have to make a good impression! Summer Rap-Up

Now that summer is coming to an end, lets spend  these last couple of days/weeks having a fun summer!

when your not doing stuff to get ready for school, call a friend and head down to a pool or the beach! It's also fun to build an outdoor lounge in your backyard! You can also make your own virtual water park by turning on your sprinklers and get a tarp and slide down it when it gets wet! That's always a fun to do with friends!

Summer Fun #33

This post is about some cool things do at the beach and while your enjoying your summer!

Beach Day Fun

Beach days one of the most fun part of summer so some fun things to do..

•My favorite, (when it's not to cool) jumping into the water! It's even more fun with friends and family so before you go, call them up!

•Running around the beach is another fun one! Grab a football or frisbee and throw it around.

•Build the ultimate sandcastle! First build a sand castle or mountain, and then build a river to the shore!

•Boogie boarding! I love surfing the waves. Grab your board head out to sea!

Sun tanning! With the right products, you can get a nice even tan without feeling all sticky and icky!
•Catching up on a book. Although its not the first that comes to mind when you think of fun at the beach but it is quite relaxing and it is a great way to get a tan while your at it!

X-Men: days of Future Past

I recently saw this movie and though it seems like a total guys movie, with all the X-Men and good guy vs. bad guy thing but I personally loved it! There was always action during the movie and it was super exiting! I loved it and Jenifer Lawrence is one of the main characters, so for you Jenifer fans, you get to see her! How to do a fishtail braid! I love fishtail braids! They are like regular braids in the sense because of the twisting but they give a whole other look! With just a couple of differences in the steps of making a braid, you can have a perfect fishtail braid! Click here to see how to do one!

Amazing deal from Forever 21! A maxi skirt that use to be 19.80 but now is only $6.93! The pattern is a sheer material with a short black skirt under it to give you coverage. 

I love these maxi skirts and they are perfect for summer and I could just picture a pretty floppy hat and flip flops! Perfect for a trip to the beach.

Vacation Fun Guide!

So what are some cool things to do, and cool places to go while enjoying your vacation? Well I am going to do a little guide on how to make your vacation as fun as possible! 

While packing, you may want to make a list or just grab what you think you need, but it is important to bring the right stuff for fun vaca! 
Here is Packing Checklist:

• Fashionable/Functional clothes- Fashionable so you can feel confident and functional so that it is easy to pack and it will keep you warm or cool 

• Shoes- A trick to bringing less shoes... pick only a couple pair that match with every outfit, so plain colors like silver sparkles, one solid color, and a black pair (goes with most everything)

• Hair- Pack in a separate bag, only your hair needs, such as bobby pins, mousse, gel, clips, brush, hairspray, ponytail bands, and/or a comb. That's all you really need, and packing less saves space

• Accessories- Every girl needs accessories but how much is too much? Bring only one piece of jewelry for every two outfits so you can avoid over-packing 

• Bathing suits- If you are spending time by the shore or at a hotel with a pool, you have to pack your fav bathing suit! Whether it's a bikini or a one-piece, you should plan it out. If you are staying about a week pack three or four sets of bikinis. If you are staying about four days, pack 2 or 3, and if you are staying less than that, pack 1 or 2 so you can enjoy you sun soaking day

• Soap- (Just to be safe, have all liquid soaps and scrubs in a plastic bag, then in a separate bag from your clothes!) Pack body soap or scrub only if you need to because most likely, the hotel will provide it. You should pack your own shampoo and conditioner because like scrubs, shampoo and conditioner is sometimes provided, but their hair products may not be high quality

• Electronics- Of course you want to bring your phone, but don't forget the charger! You may want to bring your tablet too so you can keep up with your games! its important to take lots of pics too

Fun on Your Trip!
While your enjoying your vacation, its important to take some picture so that you can show your friends and post them on instagram! Make sure you take at least one pic everyday so that you can make a collage and then post it! What editor I use for cool pics... read the next post to find out!
Another way to make your stay fun is knowing all the "hotspots" around the area. Obviously if your in Hollywood, you might want to go shopping and check out the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" so go to Google and search "hotspots" or ask your hotels' concierge some fun places to visit!

Fault in Our Stars

I have heard such amazing things about this movie. I, am personally someone that loves romance and love stories. I was super exited to see this movie! but some of my friends who saw it, aren't into love stories, and they weren't thrilled to watch it! They said when they did watch it they surprisingly loved it! So this season, I have noticed a new style! High-waisted skirts aka Skater skirts are totally in! They are super cute! I recently had my stylist make me a white polka-dotted one because I couldn't find my size in the one I wanted. I love wearing it with a crop top so that u don't have to tuck anything in or cover up your skirt!

I recently went and saw the new movie, "Maleficent" it is my new favorite movie! With Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, it completes the movie! A New Trend!

A new trend has been set, and many is following it! The new trend... Grosgrain Ribbon Bows! Thats the name of the ribbon that's used for the bows. I have found them many places and they are all different prices!  They are also called big or oversized bows!

I just went there a few days ago and restocked on my make-up and the best part is when they show you products and do your make-up! I got some new Sephora highlighter for around your eyes and it really looks nice with a smokey eye look. Putting it around your eyes gives such a beautiful look and adds to any make-up look. Sometimes its hard to know where to apply it so below is a little guide!

My Idol: Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn was a British actress , born in 1929, and a humanitarian, who was active during Hollywood's Golden Age. She was recognized as a film and fashion icon, and once won an academy award for best actress! She starred in several movies such as, "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Sabrina", "Funny Face", and "My Fair Lady!" Audrey Hepburn was such an amazing actress, and inspires me. Her movies and work is definitely worth watching and seeing!
